Nicholas Allday

Nicholas (Nick) is a mechanical engineering principal in the Honolulu office with a career spanning 25+ years in the design industry. His experience includes planning, design, drawings, specifications, cost estimating, studies, energy analyses, and construction administration. His technical specialties include air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fueling, process piping, and medical gas systems.

Nick has worked on hundreds of projects for DoD, state agencies, DOT, City and County of Honolulu, hospitals, hospitality, and financial institutions. He has participated in 50+ projects including FACD/charettes and state-funded solicitations on the design team.

Prior to Coffman, Nick was the owner of Miyashiro and Associates, Inc., a prominent mechanical engineering firm in Honolulu. Firm ownership afforded Nick a deep understanding of the consulting business and he established relationships with clients in Hawaii and the Pacific Region. Nick and four employees from Miyashiro and Associates joined Coffman’s Honolulu office in March 2021.
