Alan Yim

Alan Yim is an accomplished mechanical engineer and manager with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Manager and Principal Mechanical Engineer at Cytiva since April 2020, Alan previously held senior engineering positions at GE Healthcare and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where expertise included bio-process equipment and HPLC scientific lab equipment. Alan's career also encompasses co-ownership and management of Shanghai Gardens Restaurant, as well as mechanical engineering roles focused on gas turbine power plants and membrane filtration systems. Alan holds a Master of Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
