Trevor is a mechanical engineering principal in the Anchorage office and manages the industrial mechanical engineering team. Trevor is a lifelong Alaskan, born in Fairbanks and raised in Healy, Alaska. He attended the University of Idaho, earning his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering. Trevor has a broad design background in oil and gas facilities, gas processing and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, bulk storage tank modifications, pipeline repairs, pigging, and downstream facilities. Trevor specializes in piping design, pipe stress analysis, material and equipment selection and specification, hydraulic modeling, code study for American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) design codes and API recommended practices and standards. As part of the design process, Trevor’s mechanical engineering group uses 3D laser scanning, 3D modeling, stress analysis software, and hydraulic analysis software to develop complete designs.
Trevor also has a strong background in pipeline integrity projects to support the inspection of pipelines using traditional and non traditional inspection methods. Trevor has planned and implemented many pipeline inspection projects across Alaska and Hawaii. These projects have included challenges such as bi-directional pigging, dual diameter pipelines, robotic crawlers, heavy wall pipelines, extreme pig tracking conditions, and specialized cleaning chemicals. This experience also includes integrity data evaluation and repair recommendations to the client.
