Marike Westra

Marike Westra serves as the Chief Communications & Sustainable Impact Officer at COFRA Holding AG since January 2016, leading strategic communications and sustainable impact initiatives across various commercial and philanthropic organizations. Prior to this, Marike held the position of SVP, Group Communications and Investor Relations at Ahold Delhaize, overseeing global brand and reputation management, including communications for the merger with Delhaize. Other notable roles include Global Vice President of Integrated Communications at Philips Lighting, Sr. Director of Healthcare Reputation at Philips, Global Director of Corporate Relations at Elsevier, and Global Director of Strategic Communications and Business Development at Excerpta Medica. Marike graduated with an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a BA, Summa Cum Laude, in Philosophy from Vassar College.
