Sean Friend

Sean Friend is an experienced commercial banker currently serving as Senior Vice President - Commercial Relationship Manager at Cogent Bank since July 2020, specializing in various aspects of real estate transactions, small business relationship management and lending, as well as homeowner association banking and lending in Southwest Florida. Prior to this role, Sean Friend held the position of Lee County Retail Market Manager at IBERIABANK from January 2017 to July 2020 and served as Vice President of Commercial Lending at Iberia Bank from June 2009 to July 2020. Sean Friend earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Illinois State University, completing the program between 1998 and 2003.
