Cori A. Malinky

Cori A. Malinky, Ph.D., is a Principal Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Cogent Biosciences, leveraging extensive drug discovery expertise since March 2022 to contribute to the development of therapeutics targeting genetically driven diseases. Concurrently, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Vanderbilt University since June 2020, Cori has integrated synthetic organic chemistry skills to advance the development of novel drug candidates for neuropathologies. Previous experiences include a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Oklahoma, where Cori studied the anti-proliferative natural product OSW-1, and serving as a Development Engineer Technician at First Solar, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of solar modules. Cori's foundational research experience began as an Undergraduate Researcher at Miami University. Cori holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Miami University.
