Ravi Jalluri

Ravi Jalluri has extensive work experience in the field of computational chemistry, primarily focusing on drug discovery and development for various oncology, inflammatory, and autoimmune targets. Ravi is currently serving as the Senior Director of Computational Chemistry at Cogent Biosciences, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to their current role, Ravi worked at Incyte for nearly 18 years, starting as a Principal Investigator and progressing to the role of Senior Principal Investigator I. At Incyte, they utilized molecular modeling and other computational methods to support drug design efforts. Before joining Incyte, Ravi held positions at Oscient Pharmaceuticals as a Group Leader of Computational Chemistry and at Celgene as a Scientist in Computational Chemistry. Ravi began their career as a Technology Transfer Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, NIH and later served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Kansas.

Ravi Jalluri's education history begins with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Kakatiya University, which they completed from 1982 to 1986. Ravi then pursued a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical (Medicinal) Chemistry from Andhra University between 1987 and 1989. Ravi later attended The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1994, where they earned their Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, focusing on Medicinal and Computational Chemistry.
