Matthew Martin is a Synthetic Chemist at Cogent Scientific and also holds the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Duquesne University. Prior to these roles, Matthew worked as an Analyst II at Eurofins and as a Project Manager while being self-employed. Their research focuses on forming novel carbon-phosphorus bonds to study the structure-activity relationship of modified 2-hydroxybenzylphosphine oxide catalysts. Matthew has experience working with pyrophoric substances and safety procedures. Matthew holds a degree from Wheeling University.
