Jesse Wasson

Jesse Wasson currently serves as the Chief Analytic and Technology Officer at Cogent Security Consulting since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jesse was the Surety Programs Group Leader at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. from February 2012 to January 2024, overseeing a team of 75 professionals managing over $90M in contracts with various governmental clients. Jesse's experience includes managing risk assessments, data analytics, and modeling/simulation for high-consequence operations, as well as directing interdisciplinary teams to improve safety and security operations. Academic credentials include a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University at Buffalo, along with a BA in English and Political Science, also from the University at Buffalo.
