Steve Cowden has a extensive work experience in the field of purchasing, customer services, and materials management. Steve started their career in 1989 as a Materials Manager at Crent Company. From 1993 to 1996, they served as a Customer Services Manager at Conifer-Crent Company. Steve then joined Unisource Worldwide, Inc. in 1996, where they held the position of Director - Customer Services Center, Unisource Packaging Northern California until 2004. Currently, they are working as the Vice President of Purchasing at Cogent Solutions & Supplies.

Steve Cowden obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning and Management from the University of California, Davis. Steve attended this university from 1974 to 1979.
