Sylwester is a Founding Partner of Cogito Capital Partners and is responsible for the Fund’s Fintech, Mobile and IoT, AI & Machine Learning and Consumer Internet investments. Prior to Cogito, Sylwester was a Senior Partner and Member of the Board at MCI Capital, one of the leading European private equity group where he led the team of MCI.TechVenture Fund (EUR 250M+ AUM), focused on growth technology investments in Central Europe, Western Europe, Russia and Turkey.
Among Sylwester’s investments were Azimo, Answear, MarketInvoice, Morele.net, Travelata, iZettle (acquired by PayPal for $2.2B). He also completed several successful exits including Invia, One-2-One, NaviExpert, NetPress and NetRetail Holding.
Sylwester has 20 years of experience in VC/growth technology investments, strategic management, business development and M&A gained at senior executive roles among others at Lockheed Martin Technology Accelerator, ATM SA and PwC. He also has served as the Vice President of Polish Private Equity Association (2011-2018).
Sylwester holds an MBA in Strategic Management of Technology and e-Business from Cass Business School in London, UK.
Sylwester is based in Warsaw.
