Gahl Berkooz, Ph.D. has held a variety of roles since 1989. From 1989 to 1993, they were a Research Associate at Cornell University. Gahl then founded and became the CEO of Beam Technologies from 1993 to 2001. From 2001 to 2002, they were the Managing Director of Berkooz and Co., and then Executive VP of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2016, they were the Global Head of Data and Governance, Global Head of Information Management and Analytics, and Global Head, Business Information Standards and Integration at Ford Motor Company. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Global Chief of Analytics, Global Connected Consumer Experience (GM/GCCX) at General Motors. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Vice President Venture Acceleration and Data Monetization and Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Monetization at ZF Group. Gahl is currently the President, Americas, and Chief Strategy Officer at Cognata.
Gahl Berkooz, Ph.D. obtained their Ph.D. in Applied Math from Cornell University between 1989 and 1992. In 2006, they received their Six Sigma Black Belt from Ford Consumer Driven Six Sigma. In 2008, they completed the GMP 5 program at Harvard Business School.
