Erik Seidl

Erik Seidl is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer enablement and engineering within the automation and industrial sectors. Currently serving as Director of Customer Enablement Europe at Cognex Corporation since January 2020, Erik leads European teams focused on developing and designing customer solutions. Prior roles at Cognex included Senior Manager of both Customer Enablement EU and Project Solutions. Previously, Erik held various positions at Schneider Electric, including Director of Marketing Safety + Motion Projects and Manager of the Machine Solutions Expertise Center. Erik began a career in engineering with Bosch Rexroth as an Application Engineer and also gained experience in the telecommunications industry with Telefonica. Erik's foundation in electrical and electronics engineering was established with a Diplom Ingenieur degree from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
