Gabriel Cuendet

Gabriel Cuendet has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Gabriel started their career as an intern at ABB in 2010, followed by a teaching assistant role at EPFL from 2008 to 2011. Gabriel then joined IBM Research as a research intern in 2015 and later as a postdoctoral researcher in 2017, focusing on diagram understanding. In 2012, Gabriel worked as a research assistant at EPFL. From 2018 to 2020, they held positions at Pix4D as a software developer and senior R&D engineer, specializing in C++ and computer vision. Currently, Gabriel is employed at Cognex Corporation, where they began as a senior software engineer in 2020 and now serves as a principal software engineer.

Gabriel Cuendet completed their education journey with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Génie électrique et électronique from the same institution from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a SAE Diploma in Sound Engineering from SAE Institute of Technology - Genève between 2005 and 2007.
