Reto Wyss

Reto Wyss has a diverse work experience in the field of AI technology. Reto started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech in 2004, followed by a role as a Senior R&D Engineer at CSEM from 2006 to 2012. Reto then joined ViDi Systems as their CTO from 2012 to 2017. Since 2017, Reto has worked at Cognex Corporation, where they started as the Director of Software Engineering before being promoted to Senior Director and finally Vice President of AI Technology.

Reto Wyss has a strong education background in the field of physics. Reto earned a Diplom in Physik from ETH Zürich in 1997, followed by a Doktor der Wissenschaften (Physik Dept.) from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich in 2004, specializing in Computational Neuroscience. In 2008, Reto completed their Master of Advanced Studies ETH in Management, Technology and Economics / BWI from ETH Zürich. Additionally, they studied Physik at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1995 to 1997.
