Justin Ridl

Justin Ridl is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Managing Director at Cognia Law since July 2017. Prior to this role, Justin was the Head of the Corporate & Investment Bank Markets Legal Group at Absa, where responsibilities included overseeing legal teams for various financial products and services. Justin’s earlier career includes positions as Vice President at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Associate at Ashurst and Weil Gotshal and Manges, and Listing Executive at the London Stock Exchange, demonstrating extensive expertise in structured finance, capital markets, and legal advisory roles. Justin began a legal career as an Articled Clerk at Goodrickes Attorneys and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Natal.
