Igor Ignatov

Igor Ignatov currently serves as the Head of Security and Compliance at Cognichip since August 2025, and has been a member of the Information Security Leadership Foundation since 2015, contributing to the development of future information security leaders. Prior to this role, Igor held various positions including Senior Manager of Application Security at Intuitive (2023-2025), Manager of Product Security at Atlassian (2020-2022), and Senior Application Security Engineer at Prosper Marketplace (2019-2020). Additional experience includes serving as Solutions Architect at Wallarm (2018-2019), Solutions Engineer at tCell (2017), Information Security Lead at Zoosk Inc. (2015-2016), and Lead Information Security Consultant at OpenSky Corporation (2012-2015). Earlier experience includes a role as Information Security Consultant at PwC in 2011. Igor's educational background includes an M.Sc. in Engineering Technology Innovation Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
