Cristian Gómez Peces has a diverse and impressive work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist for Cognira. Finally, in 2018, they were a Software Development Trainee at Optiva Media, where they worked for TiVo Inc. on software development for some of the TiVo products deployed in the Spanish Digital TV market and accelerated firmware update release by fixing bugs in C++ and upgrading the UX refresh to meet client’s deadline. In 2017, they were an Intern in Data Analysis at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where they quantified the impact of ICAI’s Tech Campus program on the number of applications to join the Engineering program and retrieved data from the local database and used MATLAB to identify areas of improvement for the program.

Cristian Gómez Peces has an extensive education history. Cristian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2018. From 2017-2018, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Michigan, where they studied Computer Engineering. Cristian then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2018-2021. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Goethe-Zertifikat B1 from the Goethe-Institut e.V. in 2018, the Cambridge English Advanced Exam from the University of Cambridge in 2016, and Intermediate German (B2) from Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in 2014.
