Sophika Uthayakumar

Sophika Uthayakumar is currently a Business Development Intern at Cogniss and serves as the Digital Health Lead and University Representative for the Royal Society of Medicine. Sophika has been an Ambassador for Skcin - The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity since June 2021 and is the University Representative for the National Student-Led Dermatology Association UK. Sophika's past experience includes a mentorship with Women Who Build and a position as Media Lead for the National Medical Research Association. From October 2022 to August 2023, Sophika held the role of President of the KCL Clinical and Academic Research Society. Prior involvement includes serving as a Student Champion for NICE and participating in an international collaboration program at Columbia University. Sophika gained practical experience through a shadowing opportunity at Jaffna Teaching Hospital. Sophika is pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at King's College London and a Master's in Bioscience Innovation and Enterprise at UCL.
