Sanjay Chopra

Sanjay Chopra is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cognistx. Prior to this, they were the Director of Digital Commerce at Giant Eagle, where they oversaw the development of new mobile apps, a new curbside express solution, and the new Market District website. Sanjay also instituted a new global QA delivery model and launched Data Governance.

Before their time at Giant Eagle, Chopra worked at IBM for over 7 years in Business Development. Sanjay was responsible for growing the team from 30 to 450 members with internal recoveries growing from $4 million to $19 million. The team had global delivery teams in India, China and Costa Rica/Mexico/Brazil. The team focused on Web, Mobile, Cloud, Big Data, and Business Intelligence projects.

Chopra has also served as an Advisory Board Member at Metacube and as Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon University.

Sanjay Chopra has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. Sanjay also has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a MSIA from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.
