Katherine Scott

Katherine Scott has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Katherine is currently working as a Senior Scientific Lead at Cognite since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The AS&K Group from April 2018 to June 2022, holding various roles including Associate Scientific Director, Scientific Team Lead, and Editorial Manager. From April 2016 to April 2018, Katherine was a Scientific Content Manager at The Institute of Cancer Research, where they played a key role in improving the academic environment for researchers by creating digital scientific content and managing communications projects. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at St George's, University of London from October 2012 to March 2016, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London from March 2011 to October 2012. Katherine also has experience as a Scientific Officer at the Institute of Cancer Research from February 2004 to September 2006.

From 1999 to 2003, Katherine Scott attended the University of Surrey, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry (Medical). After completing their undergraduate studies, from 2006 to 2010, they enrolled at the University of Manchester to obtain a PhD degree in Experimental Oncology.
