Stephanie Westwood

Stephanie Westwood has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and communication industry. Stephanie started their career in 2005 as a Senior Medical Writer at Chameleon Communications International and then moved to Brand(x) Communications in 2007, where they held the position of Senior Medical Writer until 2009. In the same year, they joined Brand(x) as Head of Copy and served in that role until 2011. Stephanie then joined ICC Lowe London as a Scientific Director from 2011 until 2015. In 2015, Stephanie worked at IMC Healthcare Communication as the Global Medical & Scientific Director for the first nine months of the year. Finally, they joined Cognite in 2015 and held various roles, including a consultant role as Scientific Director until November 2019. Currently, Stephanie is the Chief Scientific Officer at Cognite.

Stephanie Westwood obtained their BA (Cantab) degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge in 1993. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of Birmingham, which they completed in 1997.
