Babatunde Aromire

Babatunde Aromire is a Senior Software Engineer at Cognite since March 2022. Babatunde previously worked at One Acre Fund as a Software Engineer from September 2020 to March 2022. At One Acre Fund, they implemented offline registration and data upload functionalities, utilized sync gateway and Couchbase, and implemented clean code architecture and mediator design pattern. Babatunde also contributed to the development of a frontend template using React and leveraged SignalR for real-time eventing. Babatunde used Docker for server-side ASP.

Prior to that, Babatunde worked at Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) as a Backend Software Engineer from April 2019 to August 2020 and as a Backend Software Developer from November 2016 to March 2019. At CcHUB, they determined the architecture for optimal solutions, reviewed and merged code, and deployed solutions using CI/CD tools. Babatunde used languages and frameworks such as PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, GraphQL, Redis, and Sequelize.

Babatunde also worked as a Junior Web Developer at Swap Technologies and Telecomms Plc from April 2016 to September 2016. Their responsibilities included maintaining JavaScript frameworks, optimizing website frontend, and updating webpages for improved performance.

Babatunde Aromire's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Lagos State University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed high school at St. Gregory's College, Ikoyi, from 2000 to 2006. Their earliest education was at Command Children School, Bonny Cantoment, Lagos, where they obtained a First School Leaving Certificate from 1995 to 2000.
