Gerard Leblanc

Gerard LeBlanc has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and petroleum engineering. Gerard is currently employed at Cognite as a Senior Data Engineer, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Gerard worked as a Data Engineer II at Cognite from December 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Cognite, Gerard worked at Corva, where they held various roles. Gerard started their journey at Corva as a Drilling Data Analyst in January 2019 and then transitioned to the role of Completions Data Analyst from August 2019 to November 2019. Gerard then served as a Completions Data Specialist from November 2019 to August 2020 and later as the Completions Operations Lead from August 2020 to July 2021. Gerard's final role at Corva was as a Product Manager from July 2021 to December 2021.

Prior to their time at Corva, Gerard worked at Southwestern Energy. Gerard started as a Production Engineering field intern in May 2015 and returned as a Production Engineering Intern from May 2016 to August 2016. Gerard then progressed to become a Reservoir Engineer from July 2017 to January 2018 and finally a Completions Engineer from January 2018 to July 2018.

Currently, Gerard is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with an expected completion date in 2024.
