Jake Reynolds

Jake Reynolds is a general partner at TCV, one of the world’s largest growth equity firms. He joined TCV in 1997 and has been a venture capital and technology investor for more than 20 years. While Reynolds has investment experience in multiple technology sectors, his focus has been on the software and tech-enabled services industries and includes both minority and majority investments. In addition to his investment activities, Reynolds is also a member of TCV’s Executive Committee, which oversees general management of the firm and its funds.

Prior to joining TCV, Reynolds was an associate with General Atlantic Partners, a private equity firm focused on late-stage software and service businesses. Before joining General Atlantic, he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Lazard Freres & Co., where he focused on the technology and telecom industries.

Reynolds has been involved with over 30 past and present TCV investments. He is currently on the board of directors of Cognite, OneSource Virtual, Trulioo, Venafi, and Watermark, and is actively involved with Clio and OneTrust. Reynolds has an MBA from Columbia Business School.
