Kristoffer Husøy has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Kristoffer started their career as a software developer at Tomra Systems ASA, where they worked as an intern and part-time employee, specializing in developing a software communication solution. After that, they joined the Institutt for energiteknikk, where they had student internships and worked as a software developer. During this time, they developed a virtual/augmented reality demonstrator and prototype for the oil and gas industry.

Later, they joined ABB Corporate Research Norway as a scientist, where they led a project on control room technologies, focusing on concept development, intellectual property handling, and strategic alignment with stakeholders. At ABB, they also worked as an R&D engineer and interaction designer, leading projects, driving industrial user experience initiatives, and developing efficient and easy-to-use software solutions for the oil and gas business.

In their most recent position at ABB, Kristoffer served as the section manager of digital design and the UX team lead. Kristoffer led a multi-disciplinary design team that developed software solutions for safety-critical applications in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, they spearheaded a global user experience improvement initiative within ABB, focusing on style guides and process improvement.

Currently, Kristoffer is the Director of Design at Cognite AS, where they utilize their expertise to drive design strategies and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Kristoffer Husøy started their education at Asker VGS in 1994, where they studied without pursuing a specific degree or field of study. After completing their secondary education, they went on to attend the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1997 to 2003. At NTNU, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Cybernetics. Additionally, Kristoffer Husøy pursued further education by attending the University of Oslo and Istanbul Technical University from 2003 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Society, Science & Technology.
