Morten Mjelva

Morten Mjelva has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Morten currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Cognite since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Computas AS where they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer from July 2020 to February 2022, and Software Engineer from August 2018 to July 2020. Before Computas AS, Morten worked as a Software Engineer at Nordic Semiconductor ASA from February 2014 to October 2016. Morten started their career as a Caretaker at Trondheim kommune in 2008, where they worked until February 2014. Additionally, Morten was involved with the GNOME Foundation as a Google Summer of Code participant in 2011.

Morten Mjelva began their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2006, where they studied sociology until 2009. Morten then returned to NTNU in 2011 and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Cybernetics in 2018.

In terms of additional certifications, Morten obtained the certification "Exam 483: Programming in C#" from Microsoft in August 2019. In April 2018, they completed a course on Machine Learning through Coursera. Most recently, Morten achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification in January 2020.
