Paul Salaberria

Paul Salaberria has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple roles and companies. Paul started their career in 2013 as a System Developer at Dataloy Systems AS, where they focused on server automation and deployment using Puppet. Paul then joined Knowit as a Summer Intern, where they developed a responsive and touch-friendly single-page web application. In 2015, they joined Telenor as a Software Engineer in Data Insights and later became a Tech Lead for Data Management & Insights. At Telenor, they gained experience in data analysis and management. Currently, Paul is working at Cognite as a Principal Software Engineer, specializing in infrastructure. Paul has held various roles at Cognite, including Infrastructure Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer. In their role, they have worked extensively with infrastructure technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Paul has also developed data engineering solutions, such as a search loader for indexing data into Elasticsearch using Python. Throughout their career, they have utilized various tools and platforms, including Jenkins, Docker, and GitHub.

Paul Salaberria completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2012. Paul then went on to earn their Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Bergen (UiB) between 2012 and 2014. In 2017, they obtained a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity, focusing on Machine Learning.
