Calvin Huang

Calvin Huang is a Software Engineer at Cognition, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this role, Calvin served as a Staff Software Engineer at Scale AI from June 2017 to July 2024, where responsibilities included leading the Platform team and managing infrastructure projects. Previous experience includes internships at Quora, where Calvin improved search infrastructure reliability, and Google, where Calvin developed a search suggestions system for Google Fiber TV. Academic experience includes research roles at MIT Spoken Language Systems and Stanford University Natural Language Processing Group, as well as early work as a Test Engineer at Sentient Energy and a Research Intern at Lockheed Martin. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2017.
