Michael John Harris

Michael John Harris is an accomplished editorial director currently leading the CogX Festival since March 2021, which unites thought leaders from various sectors to address future challenges. Previously, Harris served as the director of Guardian Live from September 2014 to February 2020, where the foundation and execution of a range of global live events were overseen. Prior experience includes programming and producing at Assembly Festival, directing the Institute of Art and Ideas, and being the artistic director at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill. An earlier role as general manager/programmer at Arcola Theatre contributed to significant growth and sustainability achievements for the venue. Michael John Harris holds a BA Joint Hons in English and Drama from the University of the West of England, obtained in June 2002.
