Suhas Shastry

Suhas Shastry has a varied work experience in the data science and software engineering fields. Suhas began their career in 2014 as a Software Engineer at Citrix. In 2018, they took on two roles at Oregon State University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. In 2019, they worked as a Data Science Intern at Kernel Labs. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Attunely Inc. as a Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist. Currently, they are a Senior Data Scientist at Cognitiv.

Suhas Shastry received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from RV College of Engineering between 2011 and 2014. Suhas then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Statistics from Oregon State University, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Since then, they have obtained several certifications including Machine Learning System Design from Educative, Inc. in 2022, Reinforcement Learning from Coursera in 2021, TensorFlow: Advanced Techniques from Coursera in 2021, Master SQL for Data Science from Udemy in 2019, and IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera in 2019.
