Robert Slater

CEO and Founder at Cognitive Credit

Robert Slater has worked in the financial industry since 2003. Robert began their career at Citi, where they held various roles such as Director, working on the firm's Credit Research and Trading business, and a Senior Liaison between the firm's Markets businesses and global policymakers. Robert then joined Silver Rock Financial (UK) LLP in 2013 as a Partner, co-launching the European arm of a large US-based Single Family Office and leading the firm's research efforts in Europe. Most recently, they have been the CEO and Founder of Cognitive Credit since 2017, where they create scalable solutions custom-designed for institutional credit investors.

Robert Slater obtained a B.A. in Chinese and International Development from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. In 2013, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder from the CFA Institute. Robert is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
