Thomas Kaltenbrunner

Thomas Kaltenbrunner has over 10 years of work experience in data science. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Postgraduate Student at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Data Analytics Associate at EY in the Fraud Investigations & Dispute Services department. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Data Scientist at Beautiful Destinations, where they developed an automated image enhancement tool and built ad optimization capabilities. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Deep Learning Researcher at Hutoma AI, where they developed NLP and Deep Learning solutions. Finally, since 2019, they have been a Lead Data Scientist and ML Researcher at Cognitive Credit.

Thomas Kaltenbrunner has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematical Physics from Maynooth University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. Thomas also has a Magister degree in Physics from the University of Vienna, which they obtained between 2003 and 2009. In 2006, they attended the Universidad de Santiago de Chile for Physics. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, such as a Machine Learning Engineering for Production (MLOps) Specialization from Coursera in October 2022, a Financial Management Specialization from Coursera in January 2022, a Formal Financial Accounting certification from Coursera in June 2021, and a S2DS - Science 2 Data Science certification from the pivigo academy in August 2014.
