Bowen Yao

Bowen Yao is a Software Engineer at Cognitran since May 2023, focusing on the development of diagnostics and technical information systems for Jaguar Land Rover. Prior experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer Intern at Alibaba Group, where Bowen Yao contributed to the payment team by creating webpages for a test automation platform, utilizing technologies such as Java, React, JavaScript, MyBatis, Spring Boot, and SQL to enhance server room consistency globally. Bowen Yao also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and held a Software Engineer Intern position there. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
