Lori White

Lori White is an experienced educator and technical professional, currently serving as an Associate Instructor for AWS re/Start at Cognixia since July 2020, where the curriculum focuses on AWS Cloud fundamentals for entry-level positions. Lori also contributed as a Full-Stack Java Developer within Cognixia’s JUMP program, which offers intensive technical training for STEM talent. In addition, Lori has been a Private Tutor and Peer Tutor at the University Center for Academic Excellence at UNC Charlotte since May 2015, providing specialized tutoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Japanese. Prior roles include serving as Head Teaching Assistant and Computer Science Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte's Department of Computer Science, where responsibilities included creating lesson plans and managing lab sections. Lori holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
