Diana H. Pereira

Chief Financial Officer at Cognixion

Diana H. Pereira has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2009 when they founded Balance Financial Management, a strategic finance partner that provides accounting, HR and operational services, among other services. In 2014, they became the Chief Compliance Officer at Morton Capital Management, a wealth management firm specializing in customized tactical asset allocation. In 2017, they took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Cognixion, a neurotech A.I. company, and Executive Editor of Impact Magazine Issue 01. In 2018, they co-founded Kiva Cowork (formerly Impact Hub Santa Barbara) and in 2019, they became co-owner of Goleta Coffee Co. In 2021, they were appointed Commodore of the Santa Barbara Sea Shell Association and in 2020, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Pensionmark Financial Group. Additionally, they have served as Board Treasurer for Wilderness Youth Project since 2014 and International Jury Member for Accelerate2030 since 2017.

Diana H. Pereira attended UC Santa Barbara from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a B.A. in Business Economics. In 1995 and 1996, they attended Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, studying Economics. In 1998, they attended the World Trade Center for Essentials of Exporting. From 2004 to 2008, they attended The Santa Barbara & Ventura Colleges of Law and earned a J.D. in Law. In addition, they are a Member of the State Bar of California.
