Klarissa Marenitch serves as the Chief Technologist and Futurist for the Retail division at Cognizant since May 2025, where responsibilities include advocating for retail CXOs and enhancing offerings through thought leadership. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Information Technology Officer at Leaf Home, focusing on digital transformation and operational efficiency, and Chief Information Officer at Hippo Insurance, where the IT strategy was defined for a disruptive insurance model. Earlier roles included CIO at Anaplan, Senior Vice President of IT at Kohl's, and Director Of Strategic Initiatives at macys.com, among others. Klarissa holds a Master's degree in Applied Technology in Aging from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
