Sameer Kala

Sameer Kala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology delivery and project management across various sectors including logistics, eCommerce, banking, and telecom. Currently serving as Portfolio Director for Digital and Cloud Engineering at Cognizant, Sameer leads cloud and digital initiatives, enhancing governance and architectural design while managing financials for successful project outcomes. Previous roles include Senior Technical Program Manager at Citi, managing Agile teams to modernize applications, and Manager of Software Engineering at Dex Media, overseeing critical product development efforts. Sameer has also held senior positions at Southwest Airlines, Deloitte Consulting, and Accenture, where responsibilities ranged from leading large-scale transformations to managing enterprise application support and financials. Sameer holds an MBA in Project Management from the City University of Seattle and an MS in Computer Science from DAVV Indore, India.
