Charles Tholen

Charles Tholen has over 25 years of work experience in the IT field. From 1994 to 2009, they held various positions at different companies. Theirearliest role was as a Senior Network Analyst at STM Mortgage in 1994. Charles then moved to Erapmus as a Systems Consultant in 1995, where they designed and deployed LANDesk enterprise wide for LDDS WorldCom. In 1996, they joined Computer Associates as a Senior Systems Engineer, and then moved to Cheyenne Software, a division of Computer Associates, as a Senior Systems Engineer in 1995. In 1997, they joined NetIQ as a Senior Systems Engineer. Charles then moved to GuardedNet as a Senior Security Engineer in 2003, followed by a role as a Senior Security Engineer at netForensics in 2004. In 2007, they were the Owner and Principal Consultant of CP Tholen and Associates, LLC, and also the Regional Sales Engineer at TriCipher, Inc. From 2009 onwards, they have been the Owner and CEO of Cognoscape, LLC, and President and Chief Technology Officer of the same company.

Charles Tholen obtained their BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma between 1988 and 1992. Charles also attended Holland Hall. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft, Mile2, GIAC, and AlienVault between 2014 and 2018.
