Blaine Costello, Ph.D.

Blaine Costello, Ph.D., has worked as an R&D Software Engineer at Cognosos, Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they focused on developing a distributed system of coordinated ground robots for payload manipulation. Blaine also contributed to the mechanical design of robots and assisted with firmware and communications development. During this time, they published and presented their work on the distributed robotic system. From 2011 to 2016, Blaine worked as a Research Engineer at Earthly Dynamics Corporation, where they prepared user manuals, performed maintenance on rapid prototyping tools, machined and assembled prototypes for robotic systems, and conducted structural analysis for fabricated robotic actuators.

From 2010 to 2013, Blaine attended Auburn University where they pursued a field of study in Computer Software Engineering. However, no specific degree was mentioned for this period.

Blaine then proceeded to enroll at the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering between the years 2013 and 2016.
