Karina Lee

Karina Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karina is currently working at Cognota as a Community and Events Manager, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Routeware, Inc. as a Sales Enablement and Events Manager from June 2021 to July 2023. In 2018, they joined IWG plc as an Area Operations Manager, where they led and oversaw a team across 14 branches in British Columbia. Karina was recognized for their customer retention and team development efforts by peers in Canada and Latin America. Karina also worked as a Community Manager at IWG plc, where they managed a portfolio of 100+ office and virtual office clients and maintained high occupancy and retention rates. Before their time at IWG plc, Karina worked at Karma Athletics Ltd. as a Community Manager, where they developed and implemented a brand ambassador program to build brand awareness and engage with fitness leaders and community partners. Prior to that, they held roles in administrative support and switchboard at Fraser Health and as a recreational coordinator and administrative assistant at Revera Inc. Karina also has experience as an ice skating instructor at the City of Burnaby and as a marketing assistant at SportAbility, where they focused on improving community engagement and increasing program attendance for athletes with physical disabilities.

Karina Lee completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In 2017, they pursued further education in Digital Marketing, obtaining a Diploma from RED Academy and a Certificate from BrainStation. Additionally, Karina has acquired several certifications, including Sales Enablement from HubSpot Academy in May 2021, HubSpot Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in January 2018, Google Analytics from Google in October 2017, and Google AdWords Fundamentals & Search Advertising Certification from Google in November 2017. Karina also holds a Health and Fitness Certificate from Simon Fraser University's School of Kinesiology, completing it during their time at the university from 2006 to 2012.
