Rebecca McDougall has a wealth of experience in customer success, customer experience, customer support, partner success, and event planning. Rebecca began their career in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative at Staples Business Depot. In 2012, they held the role of TEDx McMaster U Co-Curator at McMaster University and Youth Worker Leader at the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford. From 2012-2014, they held several roles at EventMobi, including Support Specialist, Partner Success Manager, Manager of Customer Support, and Director of Customer Support. In 2019, they joined Cognota as VP of Customer Success and then as Director of Client Success.

Rebecca McDougall completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies at McMaster University between 2010 and 2014. Rebecca then obtained a Certified Event Designer from EDC in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Stratford Central Secondary School from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Pavilion and LinkedIn, such as CCO School in 2022, Customer Retention and Getting Started as a LinkedIn Learning Admin in 2019, and Customer Experience: Journey Mapping, Customer Service Blueprinting, and Leading a Customer-Centric Culture in 2019.
