Martin McAllister is an experienced forensic archaeologist with a robust background in heritage protection and archaeological damage assessment. Currently serving at Cogstone Resource Management since October 2019, McAllister focuses on consulting and training related to cultural resource protection and emergency management. Prior to this role, McAllister worked at Northland Research, Inc. from April 2015 to October 2019, also specializing in heritage protection and archaeological violation investigations. McAllister's extensive experience includes ownership of Archaeological Damage Investigation & Assessment from July 1985 to April 2015 and a previous position as Forest Archaeologist for the Tonto National Forest with the US Forest Service from May 1974 to July 1985. Martin McAllister holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Archaeology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields from UC San Diego.
