James Grasso

James Grasso has extensive work experience in the real estate and finance industry. James is currently the Head of Real Estate and Finance for Cohabs, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to joining Cohabs, James worked as the Director of Real Estate for Quarters Co-Living, where they led the company's expansion efforts in the US through deal sourcing, underwriting, and negotiation. Unfortunately, Quarters closed its US operations due to the economic impact of COVID-19.

Before their role at Quarters, James worked as an Associate at PJT Partners from December 2017 to September 2019. James also held the position of Acquisitions Associate at Origin Investments from July 2016 to December 2017, where they sourced and underwrote investment opportunities and was responsible for asset management and execution of business plans. Prior to that, James worked as a Financial Analyst at Pearlmark Real Estate Partners from June 2014 to July 2016, where they focused on acquisitions, asset management, and mezzanine debt origination.

Overall, James Grasso has a strong background in real estate investment and finance, with experience in deal sourcing, underwriting, asset management, and business plan execution.

James Grasso attended Rye Country Day School from 2005 to 2009. James then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Washington and Lee University from 2009 to 2013. During their time at Washington and Lee University, they studied Business/Commerce, General as well as Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
