Laura Gurr is a Managing Partner and Partner at Cohen Highley LLP, where Laura has been since July 2009, focusing on administrative law, condominium matters, residential tenancies, municipal issues, planning and zoning, and expropriations. Prior to this role, Laura gained valuable experience as a Lawyer and started their legal career as an Articling Student with the Government of Ontario from May 2017 to April 2019. In this position, Laura served as the Chair of the Employment Standard Development Committee, overseeing the Committee's operations and ensuring balanced participation among members. Laura’s early career included a student role at Loyalist Township from May 2006 to April 2009. Laura holds a JD in Law and a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Studies from Queen's University, earned between 2002 and 2009.
