Paul Wood has a diverse work experience in the fields of communications, marketing, and public relations. Paul currently serves as the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO) of Cohen Veterans Network, responsible for various aspects of internal and external communications, crisis communications, national marketing, brand management, media relations, and community outreach. Prior to their current role, Paul was the Chief External Affairs Officer at Cohen Veterans Network, overseeing brand, marketing, and reputation management. Before joining Cohen Veterans Network, Paul worked at Ketchum, where they held several senior positions including Partner, Client Leader, and Director of the New York Corporate Practice. Paul also had responsibilities in business development, client leadership, and team management. Paul started their career at PainePR, where they eventually became a Partner and Managing Director. Paul also had experience at Burson-Marsteller as a VP and Group Manager.

Paul Wood has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from UC Irvine. In 2007 to 2008, they attended the University of Notre Dame for a Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate Program. In 2020 to 2021, they completed the Stanford LEAD Professional Certificate at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Digital Disruption and Transformation Strategies from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School (obtained in May 2020) and in Digital Marketing: Customer Engagement, Social Media, Planning & Analytics from Columbia University (obtained in September 2019).
