Tracy Neal-Walden (Col, USAF-Ret)

Tracy Neal-Walden, Ph.D. (Col, USAF-Ret) has extensive experience in the field of mental healthcare and clinical operations. From 2020 to the present, they have served as the Chief Clinical Officer at Cohen Veterans Network, overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the provision of high-quality, accessible mental healthcare to veterans and their families. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President and Director at the Cohen Military Family Clinic within Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they directed all aspects of the clinic's operations and was responsible for staff training and professional development. From 1993 to 2017, Tracy served in various roles within the United States Air Force, including Director Psychological Health & Chief, Mental Health Branch (Colonel), where they provided consultation on psychological health policy and managed mental health programs. Tracy also served as a Psychologist and held leadership positions such as Director (Commander), Medical Operations Squadron and Director (Chief), Population Health Enhancement. Tracy's work in the Air Force included managing outpatient healthcare teams, overseeing clinical and research programs, and providing direct consultation on mental health coding. Additionally, they have experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Health Psychology, managing treatment programs and conducting research, and as a Clinic Director, overseeing mental health services and treatment implementation for a large population of active duty and beneficiaries. Tracy Neal-Walden, Ph.D. (Col, USAF-Ret) pursued their education in the field of psychology. Tracy completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the years 1985 to 1989. Tracy then furthered their studies at Drexel University - Hahnemann Medical Campus, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical and Health Psychology from 1989 to 1996.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Tracy Neal-Walden has obtained several certifications. Tracy is a licensed psychologist, having obtained licensure from the Mississippi Board of Psychology in December 1996, the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professionals in February 2017, and the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists in June 2018. Moreover, they received a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in October 2021.
