Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Campus Recruiting & Programs at Cohen & Company

Shiori Heima has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and industries. Shiori began their career in 2016 as a Tour Guide at the Office of Admissions at Case Western Reserve University, where they gave tours of the campus to potential students and their families.

In 2017, Shiori worked as a PC Intern at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), where they provided direct assistance to refugees in need, helping them with tasks such as applying for welfare and attending doctor's appointments.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Campus Recruiting Coordinator at Cohen & Company, where they were responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts and managing administrative tasks. During this time, they also served as an Off-Campus Committee Co-Chair at the University Program Board, organizing and executing events for undergraduates.

In 2018, Shiori also gained experience as a Program Development Intern at PHASTAR Corporation, where they contributed to program development initiatives.

Shiori then transitioned to a Talent Acquisition Specialist role at SDG Group in 2021, focusing on technical recruiting in the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence space.

Returning to Cohen & Company in 2021, Shiori took on the role of a Campus Recruiting Specialist, responsible for full-cycle campus recruitment and technical recruiting for various offices and teams.

Currently, they hold the position of Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Campus Recruiting & Programs at Cohen & Company, where they continue to contribute to campus recruitment and programs.

Throughout their career, Shiori has demonstrated strong skills in talent acquisition, program development, event organization, and communication.

Shiori Heima completed their Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Psychology from Case Western Reserve University from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they also attended Maastricht University for a brief period to study Psychology and Neuroscience. Prior to their university education, they attended Solon High School from 2010 to 2014.
