Valerie Steppel

Valerie Steppel, CPA, currently serves as an Assurance Senior at Cohen & Company, a position held since January 2021, after previously working as Assurance Staff at the same firm. Valerie was the Treasurer and a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Pittsburgh for the 2022-2023 year, supporting the financial management of the organization. Earlier experience includes tutoring roles at Duquesne University, an Executive Assistant position at the Rotary Club, and internships in auditing and marketing. Valerie's professional journey began with accounting and assistant roles in various organizations, all while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Duquesne University and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
