Rishit Dholakia

Rishit Dholakia has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Rishit began their career as a Software Engineer Intern at ABB, where they gained exposure to advanced process control systems in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Deep Learning Intern at Pucho Technology Information Private Limited, Rishit worked on improving speech recognition algorithms for video transcription.

At Merkle, a marketing agency, Rishit served as a Machine Learning Engineer and developed personalized product recommendation systems and a natural language processing-based product description generator. Rishit utilized Python, Pyspark, Pandas, Numpy, and Flask for their projects.

Rishit then joined DeepLearning.AI as a Machine Learning/NLP Consultant, where they provided feedback and made improvements to course videos for online learning platforms. Rishit also conducted alpha testing for specialization courses on Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and TensorFlow Advanced Techniques.

Prior to their current position, Rishit worked as a Graduate Researcher at Citi, where they focused on meta-machine learning and developed a knowledge manager and meta bot for trading bots. Rishit created a generative model and utilized EM-Algorithm and Gaussian mixture models for market classification.

Currently, Rishit is a Member of Technical Staff (Machine Learning) at Cohere, where they continue to apply their expertise in machine learning to their projects.

Rishit Dholakia completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Surat from 2015 to 2019. Rishit then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at New York University from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Rishit has obtained several certifications. In February 2020, they received a certification in Natural Language Processing from Coursera Course Certificates. In August 2019, they obtained a certification in SQL for Data Science from Coursera Course Certificates. Other certifications include "DIGITAL SKILLS: RETAIL" from Accenture in July 2019, "Deep learning Specialization," "Sequence Model," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" from Coursera, all achieved in December 2017. Additionally, Rishit earned certifications in "Intro to Python for data science" from DataCamp and "Machine learning A-Z: Hands on Python and R in Data Science" from Udemy in July 2017. Lastly, they completed a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in June 2017.
